Obituary for Dorothy R. Wright

Dorothy R. Wright, 88,of Indianapolis, IN, died on Sunday, December 26, 2010. She was born on July 9, 1922 in Indianapolis, IN to Otto & Augusta (Brozite) Mueller. She married Maurice H. Wright on November 23, 1946.

She was a 1940 Manual High School Graduate. For several years she was a caretaker for the elderly. Previously, she was a cafeteria worker for Valley Mills Elementary. She was a Member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN. She has lived in Indianapolis, IN all of her life.

She is survived by 2 Sons, Roger L. (Pamela) Wright of Indianapolis, IN and Richard E. (Linda) Wright of Elgin, IL; 1 granddaughter, Donna Wermuth; 1 great granddaughter, Abigail Wermuth and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Otto and Augusta (Brozite) Mueller; husband, Maurice H. Wright and infant twin daughters and 10 siblings.

Visitation will be from 12-1pm, Friday, December 31, 2010 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Indianapolis with a memorial service at 1pm also at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. John Dunaway will be officiating. There will be a private graveside service in West Newton Cemetery at a later date.
