Obituary for Donna Jean Fuller

Donna Jean Fuller, 84, of Statesville, NC, died on Monday, August 20, 2012. Donna was born to Paul Pope & Irene (Scott) Acra on May 4, 1928 in Rising Sun, IN. Donna married Harold Fuller on June 24, 1950.

Donna was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking, especially cakes. Donna also enjoyed playing the piano and spending time with her grandchildren. While in Statesville, NC, Donna attended Landmark Church of God. Donna lived most of her life in the Indianapolis/Mooresville, IN area but also lived in Lakeland, FL for 30 years.

Donna is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold Fuller of Statesville, NC; a son, Kevin (Cheryl) Fuller of Statesville, NC; 4 grandchildren, Kari (Damien) Rowley, Wendi Hense, Laura & Missy Fuller; 6 great grandchildren & 3 sisters, Kay Snow, Nadine Acra & Betty Schwier. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Pope & Irene (Scott) Acra; a son, Randy Harold Fuller & a daughter, Londa Kay Holcomb.

Calling for Donna will be from 6-8pm on Thursday, August 23, 2012 and 9-10am, Friday, August 24, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Pastor Dan Applewhite will officiate the 10am funeral service on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Donna will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
