Obituary for Donald H. Watkins

Donald H. Watkins, 79, of Camby, IN, died on Monday, February 28, 2011. Donald was born on November 25, 1931 in Greene County, IN to Elmer & Ruth (Thacker) Watkins. He married Irene (Jones) Watkins on June 25, 1956.

was Donald graduated from Solisberry High School in 1950. He a Korean War Army Veteran. Before retiring in 1997, he was Owner/Operator of Watkins Appliance Service for 43 years. He attended Cincinnati (Indiana) Christian Church. He was a Member of Mooresville VFW Post 1111 and American Legion Wayne Post. He loved fishing and fixing tlived in Greene County, IN for 20 years.

He is hings. He has lived in Camby, IN most of his life but also survived by 3 Children, Kevin Watkins of Mooresville, IN, Donna Rice of Indianapolis, IN and Bryan Watkins of Camby, IN; 4 Grandchildren, Kevin Michael Watkins II, Valerie & Dane Rice & Steven Watkins; 1 Sister, Mabel Maners and a Special Friend, Viola Crowe.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Elmer & Ruth (Thacker) Watkins; Wife, Irene (Jones) Watkins and 5 Sisters.
