Obituary for Dolores M. Schubert

Dolores M. Schubert, 73 years of age passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009. She was born January 23, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Arthur R. and Marie G. (Schobin) Rathz. She married the late John F. Schubert on June 20, 1959.

She lived in Camby, IN for 50 years and in Indianapolis, IN for 23 years. Dolores was a 1954 Graduate of St. Mary's Academy in Indianapolis, IN and 3 years of Nursing School at St. Vincents School of Nursing. She was a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church in Indianapolis, IN and was a member of the St. Vincent Alumni Association. Before retiring in 1996, she was a Registered Nurse for St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, IN for 38 years.

She is survived by 7 Children: Katrina Soohov of Elgin, IL, Anthony Schubert of Camby,IN, Lisa Rednour of Mooresville, IN, Robert Schubert of Camby, IN, Mary Cox of Indianapolis, IN, Arthur Schubert of Indianapolis, IN, and Alana Swain of Camby, IN; 11 Grandchildren; 2 Brothers, Raymond and Silvan Rathz; and 1 Sister, Lee Wenzlick.

Calling hours for Dolores will be from 3-8pm, Friday, September 4, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. The Funeral Mass will be at 10am, Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Indianapolis, IN. Fr. Glenn O'Connor will officiate the service and Dolores will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Ann Catholic Church Building Fund.
