Obituary for David L. Epperson

David L. Epperson, 68, of Monrovia, died on July 24, 2011. David was born to Robert W. & Imogene (Kerans) Epperson on September 14, 1942 in Mattoon, IL. He married Martha (Bottom) Epperson on April 17, 1980.

Before retiring in 2000, David was a Truck Driver for Yellow Freight in Indianapolis, IN for 28 1/2 years. He has lived in Monrovia, IN for the past 28 years and his birthplace of Mattoon, IL for 42 years. He was a member of the Brooklyn Masonic Lodge & Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite. He loved watching the Indianapolis Colts and loved to fish and had a love of horses.

He is survived by 3 children, David Rod (Brandi) Epperson of FL, Richard K. Epperson of PA and Kimberly Epperson Powell of IL; 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle & Branden Epperson, Emily & Hanna Powell, David & Kacie Epperson.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. & Imogene (Kerans) Epperson; wife, Martha (Bottom) Epperson; brother, Richard K. Epperson.

Calling will be from 4:30pm -7:30pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. There will be a 7:30pm Masonic funeral on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Jones Family Mrotuary.
