Obituary for Cora Belle Boling

Cora Belle Boling, 87, of Mooresville, IN, died on July 11, 2012. Cora was born to Elmer F. & Rosie Effie (Atchley) Howard on October 14, 1924 in Scotland, IN. Cora married George E. Boling on May 26, 1942.

Cora worked as a Nurses Aid at University Heights Hospital in Indianapolis, IN for 10 years, retiring in 1972. Cora was a member of Crossroads Apostolic Church in Mooresville, IN. Cora had just been named "Resident of the Month" for July 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Mooresville, IN where she had been a resident for 8 years. Cora has lived in Mooresville, IN since 2000, Indianapolis, IN for 22 years and her birthplace of Scotland, IN for 40 years.

Cora is survived by 2 daughters, Wilma K. Gaertner of Mooresville, IN & Rosie Jean (Bill) Jefferson of AL; 1 granddaughter, Cynthia Tinsley; 3 great granddaughters; 6 great great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dorothy Hudson of Bloomington, In; Lorene Ballard of Brooklyn, IN & Norma Gail Zigler of Newberry, IN & several nieces and nephews. Cora is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer F. & Rosie Effie (Atchley) Howard; husband, George E. Boling; a grandson, Glenn Gaetner; a sister, Pearl Fancher & 4 brothers, Ira, Calvin, Paul & Arthur Howard.

Calling for Cora will be from 10-11am, Friday, July 13, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Curtis White will officiate the 11am funeral service on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Cora will be laid to rest at Scotland Cemetery in Scotland, IN.
