Obituary for Connie C. McClimon

Connie C. McClimon, 65, of Mooresville, IN, died on December 25, 2011. Connie was born to Hollie Curtis & Myrtle Icie(Stewart) Parsons on November 30, 1946 in Clay, West Virginia. She married James R. McClimon on June 29, 1968.

After working 28 years for AT&T, she retired in 2009 as a Tech Specialist. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mooresville, IN and Communications Workers of America, Local 4900. She also loved gardening and being with her family. She devoted her life to her husband, Jim; children, Michelle, Justin & Kari and granddaughter, Paige. She has lived in Mooresville, IN most of her life, while spending the first 18 years of her life in Clay, WV.

Connie is survived by her husband, James R. McClimon of Mooresville, IN; 2 children, Michelle McClimon-Powell of Indianapolis, IN and Justin (Kari) McClimon of Indianapolis, IN; 1 granddaughter, Paige Powell; and 4 brothers, Clifford, Lawrence, Clayton & Roy Parsons.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Hollie Curtis & Myrtle Icie (Stewart) Parsons and 9 siblings.

Calling will be from 5-8pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 and 9:30-10:30am, Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Chris Fowler will officiate the 10:30am funeral service on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Connie will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN.
