Charles Freeman  Wells
Charles Freeman Wells, 86, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital, Mooresville . He was born November 28, 1929, in Ano, KY, to Jesse Oliver and Rosa (Lawson) Wells. He married Bernadean (Mayfield) Wells on December 24, 1947.

Charles lived in the Bridgeport and Mooresville area since 1952. He was a truck driver for Transconlines out of CA for 35 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of Bridgeport Central Baptist Church, Bridgeport Masonic Lodge #162, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, and he was a Kentucky Colonel. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing and Southern Gospel Music.

Charles is survived by three daughters: Brenda (Darrell) Roach of Bloomfield, IN, Linda (Keith) Bohanon of Indianapolis, IN and Marsha (Scott) Cline of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and four sisters.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. with Masonic services being held at 7:30 pm at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Shawn Eldridge will officiate the celebration of life service on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Jones Family Mortuary. Charles will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery, Indianapolis.
