Obituary for Charles J. Huter

Charles J. Huter, 93 of Mooresville, IN passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008. He was born August 22, 1914 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Ollie Huter and the late Caroline (Schaefer) Huter. Charles married the late Alma C. (Batic) Huter on September 2, 1939.

Charles has lived in Mooresville, IN since 2007, Plainfield, IN for 12 years, and in Indianapolis, IN for most of his life. He was a Cathedral High School Graduate. Before retiring in 1970, he was self-employed, working in roofing, gutters, and furnace service, repair, and installation for 50 years.

Charles is survived by 2 Sons, Chuck Huter of Mooresville, IN and James Huter of Indianapolis, IN; 2 Daughters, Carol Reeves of West Point, IN and Kathy Kruger of St. Louis, MO; 8 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren and; 2 Brothers, Ted Huter of Arizona and George Huter of Florida.

Calling hours for Charles will be from 10-11am, Friday, May 9, 2008 and the funeral will begin at 11am, Friday, May 9, 2008 both held at Jones Family Mortuary. Gary Mullenix will officiate the service and Charles will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
