Obituary for Charles L. (Charlie) Hudson

Charles L. "Charlie" Hudson, 66 years of age passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010. He was born April 24, 1943 in Terre Haute, IN to the late Harry and Mary (Teague) Hudson. Charlie married Bonnie L. (Van Lannen) Hudson on April 19, 1968.

Charlie lived in Terre Haute, IN for 24 years, Monrovia, IN for 20 years, Mooresville, IN for 20 years, and in Indianapolis, IN since 2008. He was a 1962 Gerstmeyer Technical High School Graduate. He was also an Army Veteran and disharged in 1968 where he was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. Charlie was a member of the Carpenter Union in Indianapolis, IN, Mooresville VFW #1111, and the Mooresville American Legion #103. He was a Carpenter for Blakley's Corporation in Indianapolis, IN for 30 years. Also he worked as a Carpenter for several other companies and retired in 2000.

He is survived by his Wife, Bonnie L. Hudson of Indianapolis, IN; 3 Children: Gina (Mike) Brannon of Greenfield, IN, Charles (Michele) Hudson of Camby, IN, and P.J. Neace of Danville, IN; 4 Grandchildren: Kaila Brannon, Samantha Hudson, and Cameron and Maddi Neace; 1 Brother, James Hudson of Terre Haute, IN; and 1 Sister, Patsy Eddy of Terre Haute, IN. He is also preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Robert and Larry Hudson and 2 Sisters, Pearl Grimes and Mary Fern Bear.

There will be calling hours for Charlie from 2-5pm, Monday, April 12, 2010 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center (right next to Jones Family Mortuary) with a Memorial Service to begin at 5pm also at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Mike Brannon will be the speaker for the Memorial Service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Clarian Hospice, 1815 N. Capitol Ave., Suite 500, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Jones Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
