Obituary for Carol Marie Schlarb

Carol Marie Schlarb, 53, of Avon, IN, died on August 1, 2011. Carol was born to Donald & Emily (Burek) Deardorff on August 13, 1957 in Laporte, IN. She was a 1975 Ben Davis High School Graduate and earned her Associates Degree from IU Bloomington. She married Dean A. Schlarb on June 20, 1981.

For the past 20 years, she was an Administrative Coordinator for the Indiana Eye Clinic in Indianapolis, IN for 20 years. She has lived in Indianapolis, IN for most of her life. She was a member of Westlake Community Church of God. She enjoyed her social life with many friends and family.

Carol is survived by her husband, Dean A. Schlarb of Avon, IN; daughter, Rachel Marie Schlarb of Avon, IN; parents, Donald & Emily (Burek) Deardorff of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Susan Nance of Indianapolis, IN; 2 brothers, Phillip Deardorff of Carmel, IN and Willis Deardorff of Brownsburg, IN.

Calling hours will be from 10am - 1pm, Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary. Doug Talley will officiate the 1pm funeral service on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center.
