Obituary for Carl M. Jacobson

Carl M. Jacobson, 70 of Camby, IN passed away on March 6, 2009. Born November 2, 1938 in Gilman, Iowa to the late Ulric M. and Frances (Tow) Jacobson. Married LaVerne DeLuz on June 16, 1988.

Survived by 1 Daughter, Kimberly (Rick) Rubenbauer of Marshalltown,Iowa; 2 Sons, Jeffery Jacobson of Gilman,Iowa, Eric Jacobson of Marshalltown, Iowa; Brother, David (Sandy) Jacobson of LeGrande, Iowa; Sister, Barbara (John) Walker of Tucson, AZ; Sons by marriage, Michael Miller of Livermore, California, Peter Miller of Maui,Hawaii, and Andrew Miller of Hollywood, California; 8 Grandchildren; and 5 Nephews.

Graduate of Ferguson Community High School, Ferguson, IA and a US Army Veteran. He was a Machine Shop Manager for United Airlines in San Francisco for 33 years and retired from Indianapolis Maintenance Center after 6 more years in 2001. Carl loved vegetable gardening, woodturning, fishing, reading, and was a friend of Bill W. for over 26 years.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service that has been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary to be held on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center (next to Jones Family Mortuary) at 11am. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
