Obituary for Brownlee B. Chambers Jr.

Brownlee B. Chambers Jr., 82, of Greenwood died April 2, 2005. He was born March 16, 1923 to the late Brownlee B. Chambers and Benevolence (Parker) Chambers. He married Donas (Wilson) Chambers July 5, 1946. He was a World War II veteran. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He was a member of the Southport Masonic Lodge #270. He was a member of the Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite and Lifetime member of the Mooresville VFW Post #1111. Before retiring in 1984, he was a Truck Driver for Clairmont Transfer in Indianapolis, IN for 20 years. Previously, he was owner/operator of Chambers Trucking in Indianapolis, IN for 20 years.

He is survived by 3 Children: Michael Chambers of Martinsville, IN; Beverly Nail of Greenwood, IN; Cindy Greenwood of Greenwood, IN; 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; 1 Brother: Charles Beckman of Trafalgar, IN; 4 Sisters: Annis Fout of Greenwood, IN; Aileen Stout of Greenwood, IN; Ruth Mulrine of Arkansas; Betty Skaggs of Greenwood, IN.

Funeral Services will be Thursday April 7, 2005 at 2pm at Jones Family Moruary. He will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN. Memorial Contributions can be made to American Heart Association.
