Bradley J. Tackett, 55, of Monrovia, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2017 with his loving family by his side. He was born to Ivan and Bessie (Rike) Tackett on July 19, 1961 in Martinsville.
For the past 13 years, Bradley was a Machinist for A & A Transmission in Mooresville. Previously, he worked for Dalco. He loved boating and camping with family, drag racing with his challenger, and spending time with his grandson, Logan. He lived in Monrovia for 20 years and Mooresville for most of his life.
Bradley is survived by his wife, Jerri Wilson of Monrovia; a daughter, Shyann Villasenor of KS; a stepdaughter, Wanda Wilson of Monrovia; seven siblings, Alma Pease, Sharon Koelling, Ed Tackett, Dennis Tackett, Connie Garrett, Rex Tackett, Del-Marie Garrett; and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Peg Puttman; and three brothers, Victor, Phil and Kevin Tackett.
There will be a memorial gathering for family and friends on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville.
