Obituary for Betty J. Meadows

Betty J. Meadows, 86, of Greenfield, IN, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2013. Betty was born to Charles and Louise (Gwin) Shull on June 4, 1927 in Mitchell, IN. Betty married Luke "Lee" Meadows on February 28, 1947.

Betty was a Homemaker. She has lived in Mooresville, IN for most of her life. She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority. She loved to cook and enjoyed her great grandchildren.
Betty is survived by two children, Charles (Jeanne) Meadows of Greenfield, IN and Kimberly Hillman of Indianapolis, IN; two granddaughters, Amanda Clark and Stephanie Meadows; two great grandchildren, Gavon and Gwen Clark. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Luke "Lee" Meadows; a son, Gary Meadows and a brother, William Shull.

Family and friends may attend calling hours from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. There will be an 11:30 a.m. graveside service on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Bartlettsville Cemetery, where Betty will be laid to rest.
