Obituary for Bernice L. Angell

Bernice L. Angell, 89, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2013. Bernice was born to William W. & Ruth (Munday) Haley on March 8, 1924 in Indianapolis, IN. Bernice graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1942. Bernice married Maurice Angell on January 13, 1969.

Bernice was a Bookkeeper for Link Belt in Indianapolis, IN for 31 years, retiring in 1973. She loved to sew and make her own clothing. She lived in Mexico for 30 years and her birthplace of Indianapolis, IN for most of her life.

Bernice is survived by a sister, Margaret (James) Evans of Indianapolis, IN; a niece, Debra Jo (Mike) Allen of Indianapolis, IN; a nephew, Larry Gene (Kyle) Evans of Indianapolis, IN; several great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew. Bernice is preceded in death by her parents, William W. & Ruth (Munday) Haley and her husband, Maurice Angell.

Family and friends may attend calling hours from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Charles Paxton will officiate the 11 a.m. celebration of life service on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary. Bernice will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Morgan County Humane Society.
