Obituary for Bernard F. Dailey

Bernard F. Dailey 84 years of age passed away Monday, April 6, 2009. He was born November 20, 1924 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Dewey and Jenney (Puckett) Dailey. Bernard married the late Joanne (Sample) Dailey on October 13, 1945.

He lived in Martinsville, IN for 9 years and in Indianapolis, IN for 75 years. He was a Decatur Central High School Graduate and was a Navy Veteran. He was also a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the West Newton Masonic Lodge #707. Before retiring in 1989, he was a Job Setter for Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis, IN for 32 years.

He is survived by 2 Daughters, Susan (Don) Bayne of Florida and Gale McGraw of Indianapolis, IN; 1 Grandson, Christin (Toni) McGraw of Martinsville, IN; and 2 Great Grandchildren, Marisa and T.J. McGraw.

Calling hours for Bernard will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, April 9, 2009 and from 9-10am, Friday, April 10, 2009 all at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 10am, Friday, April 10, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. John Dunaway will officiate the service and Bernard will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Jones Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
