Obituary for Richard L. Bolin

Richard L.  Bolin
Richard L. "Rick" Bolin, 69, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2018. He was born to William Edward and Ruby (Hatcher) Bolin on September 18, 1948 in Indianapolis. He graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1966. He married Barbara A. (Fidger) Bolin on October 15, 1990.

Rick worked in construction most of his life. He was a jack of all trades. He was a member of SAL at Wayne Post #64. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and cooking. He lived in Indianapolis for most of his life.

Rick is survived by his wife of 27 years, Barbara Bolin of Indianapolis; three children, Keith (Kathy) Bolin of Greenwood, Kimberly Turner of FL and Jennifer (Michael) Lee of OK; six grandchildren, Zack, Korey, Michael, Mathue, Kylee and Ashley; two brothers, James E. "Jim" Bolin of Mooresville and Harold E. Bolin of Mooresville. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bonnie Ottinger.

Family and friends may gather to pay their respects from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, February 5th and 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6th in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Jerome Baker will officiate Rick's celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6th in Jones Family Mortuary. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall.
