Lilith A. (Atchley) Swank, 81, of Plainfield, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. She was born March 1, 1936 in Paoli, Indiana to Lisle Ervon and Ruth Ellen (Jones) Atchley. Lilith married Dallas L. Swank on September 21, 1956.

Lilith lived in Camby, Indiana for 23 years and in Plainfield, Indiana since 1995. She was an office manager at Creative Industries for 25 years; member of Friendswood Baptist Church; enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, reading, playing cards but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Most people would know her to be very spiritual, intelligent, and straightforward yet very practical.

Lilith is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dallas Swank of Plainfield; two children: Jerald (Vicky) Swank of Camby and Janet (Kevin) Long of Mooresville; three grandchildren: Justin (Melissa) Long, Ryan (Amy) Long and Austin Long; five great grandchildren; two sisters: Wanda Wilson and Sharon Wininger and brother, Mike Atchley. Lilith is also preceded by her parents; sister, Geneva Price; brother, Nathan "Lee" Atchley and nephew, Larry Goodman.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 5-8 pm, Friday, December 8, 2017 and from 9-10 am, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Josh Hess will officiate the Celebration of Life Service at 10 am on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the funeral home. Lilith will be laid to rest in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield, Indiana.
