Juanita Ruth (Salyers) Weekly, 84, of Martinsville, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2016 with her family by her side. Juanita was born to Thomas Lemaul and Florence Onetia (Spurling) Salyers on September 18, 1932 in Indianapolis. She married Oscar J. Weekly on April 15, 1932.

Juanita was a homemaker. She was a member of Marwood Baptist Church, where she formerly taught Sunday School. She was a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack #28. She loved spending time with all the children. She enjoyed gardening and canning. She lived in Camby for most of her life.

Juanita is survived by four children, Juanita (Mark) Mitchener of Mooresville, Oscar Alan (Don) Weekly of Whiteland, Wayne Lee (Brenda) Weekly of Martinsville and Michael Glenn (Misty) Weekly of Kokomo; 4 grandchildren, Brandy Benedict, Nikki Weekly, Sam Weekly, Leland Weekly; and 1 great granddaughter, Jaycie Cramer. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Family and friends may gather for calling from 1030-11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Roger Foggin will officiate Juanita's celebration of life service at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary. Juanita will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery, Indianapolis.
