Linda Jane (Furlong) Wheeler, 65, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2016 with family by her side. Linda was born to Chris Thomas and Helen Lavada (Settles) Furlong on January 29, 1951 in Glasgow, KY.

Linda owned Wheeler's Towing, Inc. in Indianapolis for 27 years. She belonged to the PFC (People From Camby). In her free time, she enjoyed her quarter horses, 4-H and slot machines. She loved spending time with friends, family, her girls and especially her loving grandchildren. She lived in the Camby Mooresville area for several years and Indianapolis for most of her life.

Linda is survived by three beautiful daughters, Donna Cozad of Speedway, Tammy (Steve) Summers of Camby, Christy (Ricky) Grogan of Camby; seven loving grandchildren, Jennifer, Ricky Jr., Amy, Brittany, Dylan, Kyle, Cayman; a sister, Wanda England of KY; a brother, Jerry Furlong of KY; and her special K-9 companion, Lucy Lou. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Dustin Summers.

Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Fred Schmitt will officiate Linda's celebration of life service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary. Linda will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
