Obituary for Gladys "Faye" Brown (Duncum)

Gladys "Faye" (Duncum) Brown, 77, of Coatesville, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2015. She was born to Arthur and Jessie B. (Cummings) Duncum on July 29, 1938 in Totz, KY. She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1957. She married Ollie R. Brown on April 1, 1956.

Faye was a homemaker. She was a member of Hazelwood Christian Church and former member of Drexel Gardens Christian Church. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. She lived in Coatesville for the past 25 years and Indianapolis for 20 years.

Faye is survived by a daughter, Sherry (Larry) Branham of Coatesville; two sons, Daniel (Teresa) Brown of Coatesville, Joe Brown of Clayton; a stepson, Rob Brown of Westfield; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Duncum; and a sister, Marjorie Duncum. Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jessie B. Duncum; husband, Ollie Brown; a son, Thomas R. Brown; and 10 siblings.

Family and friends may gather from 10-11 a.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at Hazelwood Christian Church, 9947 County Road 0, Clayton, IN 46118. Pastor Steve Ranson will officiate Faye's celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Hazelwood Christian Church. Faye will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
