Obituary for Randy Thomas Ricketts

Randy Thomas Ricketts, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 . He was born to Lowell T. Ricketts and Norma (Hensel) Todd on July 14, 1950 in Indianapolis. He graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1968.

Randy was a Truck Driver for Flasher Barricade and A & C Trucking for 40 years, retiring in 2012. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local #716 and Moose Lodge in Indianapolis. He lived in Indianapolis all of his life.

Randy is survived by a daughter, Markena (Kevin) Reid of Brownsburg; a son, Robbie (Desta) Ricketts of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; a brother, Kevin Ricketts of Avon; two sisters, Brenna Jackson of Indianapolis, Kerry Baker of Indianapolis; two half-brothers, Charles Ricketts and Lowell Ricketts II; and a half-sister, Sue May. Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Lowell T. Ricketts and Norma (Hensel) Todd.

Family and friends may gather from 4:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Billy Gott will officiate the 7 p.m. celebration of life memorial service on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary.
