We were neighbors and friends of Bob, Lois, Pam and Debbie for many years and have continued that friendship through our church affiliation at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.  We have fond memories of Bob as we never saw him angry.  He would smile and have a soft chuckle.  When talking with Bob, he always displayed a positive attitude and would speak softly and slowly.  Bob and his talents at Aldersgate will be missed by all.  He was active in delivering the food donations to the food pantry, mowing grass, painting, working at the Indianpolis Motor Speedway, Aldersgate Pumpkin Patch, church usher, and other projects and duties as/when needed.  Bob appeared to be tired and weak the last few Sundays he attended church but he didn't complain.  If asked how he was doing, his reply would be:  "Alright, I reckon".  We loved Bob and we will miss him, but we will definitely have fond memories of him.
