Obituary for Corbet G. Hatton

Corbet G. Hatton, 69, of Camby, In passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4th, 2015. He was born to Corbet and Artie Lucille (Spencer) Hatton on May 9, 1945 in Winchester, KY.

Corbet is an Army Vietnam War Veteran. He was a carpenter for General Motors Truck & Bus in Indianapolis for 38 years, retiring in 2007. He was a member of the UAW Local 933. He loved car collecting and restoration. He has lived in Camby since 1985, Indianapolis for 30 years, Campton, KY for 2 years and his birthplace of Winchester, KY for 2 years.

Corbet is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Kevin) Kestler of Coatesville; a son, Corbet D. Hatton of Martinsville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Della Crawford of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews., Corbet is preceded in death by his parents, Corbet and Artie Lucille (Spencer) Hatton; a daughter, Michelle Carson; a great-grandson, Michael Myers; two brothers, Donald and Danny Hatton and a sister, Verna Weatherman.

Family and friends may gather from 4:00 pm 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 and 9-10 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, 4165 E. Allison Road, Mooresville,IN 46158. Pastor Rick Miller will officiate the celebration of life service at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Corbet will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery, Indianapolis .
