Yo Eskridge

Yo Soon "Katy" Eskridge, 74 years of age passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009. She was born December 16, 1934 in Seoul, South Korea to the late Yi Chae Bak and Pyun No Mi. She married Virgil Eskridge. Katy lived in Mooresville, IN for most of her life and in Seoul, South Korea for 26 years. She was a member of the Greenwood Korean Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and her grandchildren. She was also a Homemaker. Katy is survived by her Husband, Virgil Eskridge of Mooresville, IN; 3 Children: June Hammer of Martinsville, IN, Ken (Lisa) Eskridge of Huntsville, AL, and Janette (Bob) York of Mooresville, IN; 10 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Brother, Yi Chung Ho. She is also preceded in death by 2 Brothers. Calling hours for Katy will be from 5-8pm Wednesday, August 26, 2009 and from 9-10am, Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. The Funeral will be at 10am, Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. James Lee will officiate the service and Katy will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Waverly, IN.
