Wilma M. Williams,100, of Camby,died September 23, 2007. She was born April 14, 1907 in Lebanon, IN to the late Herbert and Edna May (White) Fike. She married the late Clyde D. Williams on November 30, 1939. She was a Member of the West Newton United Methodist Church and attended Friendswood Baptist Church. She was also a 50 year Member of the West Newton Order of the Eastern Star. She was a 1925 Shortridge High School Graduate and 1929 Butler University Graduate. Before retiring in 1971, she was a High School Home Economics Teacher for Decatur Township Schools for 15 years and Wayne Township Schools for 5 years. She also worked as a Home Agent for Purdue University in Rush County.
She is survived by 1 Daughter: Mary Ann (Robert) Barrett of Camby, IN; 2 Grandchildren: Elizabeth Barrett of Indianapolis, IN and John Barrett of Camby, IN. She is preceded in death by 4 Sisters and 1 Brother.
Visitation will be from 10-11am,(1 hour prior to the 11am Funeral) Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Jones Family Mortuary. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
