William Sosbey

William H. Sosbey, age 80, went to meet his heavenly Father July 30, 2006. Formerly from Indianapolis, Mr. Sosbey had been a resident of San Benito, Texas for the past four years. He was born July 29, 1926 in Martinsville, IN to Francis Harold and America Evelyn (Poole) Sosbey. He worked in Skilled Trades for General Motors in Indianapolis for 32 years, retiring in 1982. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maragaret Sosbey, son, Garritt Sosbey, and sister, Frances Westfall. Mr. Sosbey leaves behind his companion, Betty Lou Root, daughter, Cathy Coss, grandson, William Coss, granddaughter, Amanda Card, nephew, Robert Westfall, niece, Ruth Westfall, and two great granddaughters, Haley and Breanna Card. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 4 at 3 pm with calling starting at 2 pm at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Rio Hondo First Baptist Church Youth Ministry, PO Box 279, Rio Hondo, TX 78583
