William Lipscomb

William "Wig" Henry Lipscomb was born April 12, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, Tenn. and passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2006. He graduated from Clark High School in Mt. Pleasant, Tenn. and moved to Indianapolis in 1963 where he worked numerous jobs until he retired in 2004. William was the loving father of Jessica Lipscomb. He is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Tammy Lewis, and her son Jeffrey Lewis; his brothers and sisters: George Lipscomb, Jr. of Columbia, Tenn., James (Ruth) Lipscomb of Indianapolis, IN, Mary Scribner of Columbia, Tenn., Annie Ruth Ellery of Columbus, IN, Robert(Linda) Lipscomb of Indianapolis, IN and Willie C. Lipscomb of Indianapolis, IN; dozens of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceeded in death by his parents George Lipscomb, Sr. and Jimmie Smith Lipscomb, his grandparents, and aunts and uncles. Calling hours will begin at 11am prior to the 1pm funeral on Thursday, June 1, 2006.
