William "Bill" A. Hartley Jr., 64, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on Dec. 3, 2014. Bill was born to William A. Hartley Sr. And Ellen M. (Johnson) Hartley on Dec. 26, 1949 in Indianapolis. Bill married Barbara (Edwards) Hartley on Sept. 30, 1967. Bill worked as a Printing Die Mounter for Cra-Wal Container in Indianapolis for 34 years, retiring in 2011. He enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, horseshoes and anything outdoors. He loved his dogs, Tally and Ginger and grand dog, Rico. He has lived in Mooresville for the past 40 years and his birthplace of Indianapolis for 24 years. Bill is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara Hartley of Mooresville; three children, Brian (Tammy) Hartley of Mooresville, Matthew Hartley of Avon and Amanda Hartley of Noblesville; mother, Ellen Hartley of Camby; six grandchildren, Gina, Taylor, Shelby, Brandon, Hannah and Emily; three sisters, Judy Curry, Janice Eastes and Nancy Hartley. Bill is preceded in death by his father, William A. Hartley Sr. Family and friends may gather from 2-6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 7 and from 1:30-2:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Rev. Don Endsley will officiate the 2:30 p.m. celebration of life service on Monday, Dec. 8 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Bill will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
