William A. Clossey, 74 of Bridgeport, IN passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007. He was born November 30, 1932 in Bridgeport, IN to the late Thomas and Inez (Dunn) Clossey. He married Bonnie J. (Barker)Clossey on March 20, 1953.
He has lived in Bridgeport, IN for all of his life. William graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1950. He worked as a Foreman for Grady Brothers Paving in Indianapolis for 6 years and retired in 1990. Previously, he worked as Shumakers Paving in Indianapolis for 20 years . He was a member of Mid Central Operating Engineers and he was also a member of the Indianapolis Antelope Club.
William was survived by 1 Son, Dwain Clossey of Plainfield, IN; 3 Daughters: Beverly J. Adams of Plainfield, IN, Shirley E. Borders of Indianapolis, IN, and Dorothy A. Reynolds of Indianapolis, IN; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Mary Wyatt of Indianapolis, In. He was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: John, Lester, Thomas, and Joseph Clossey; and 1 Sister, Carolyn Gooding.
Calling hours will be from 4-8pm, Sunday, January 28, 2007 and the funeral will be at 11am, Monday, January 29, 2007 both at Jones Family Mortuary. Alan Farmer will be officiating the service. William will be laid to rest at Fairfield Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Awareness Association.
