Curtis Andrew, 87, of Centerville, Indiana passed away Monday, November 25th, 2024. He was born August 9th, 1937 in Kingston, Tennessee to his parents George W. and Thelma (Guy) Andrew. He married the love of his life, Nancy E. (Conway) Andrew on December 27th, 1955. He lived in Hagerstown, Indiana for most of his life and resided in Mooresville until 2018, before moving back to the Wayne County area that same year.

Curtis is survived by his two daughters: Rebecca "Becca" Heacox of Centerville, IN and Elizabeth "Libby" Andrew of Jeffersonville, IN; four grandchildren: Kimberly Blankenship (Chris), Kelly McCarty (Keith), Andrew Heacox (Aimee), and Wm. Eric Heacox (Christina); 11 great grandchildren; one brother, Homer Andrew of Hagerstown, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Curtis is preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Nancy; and one brother, John Claude Andrew.

Curtis, a proud 1955 graduate of Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, Indiana, exemplified dedication by joining the United States Army Reserves during his younger years. His 35-year career as a Group Leader in the Shipping Department at Belden Wire and Cable in Richmond, Indiana, showcased his strong work ethic and commitment before his well-deserved retirement in 2000. A former member of Hodgin Road Christian Church and together with his wife, Nancy, he embraced the uplifting spirit of Gospel events, reflecting his deep love for family as he passionately supported his children and grandchildren at all their events. Curtis loved spending time in his garden and was always excited to hit the bowling lanes! Cherished by many, Curtis was a shining example of humility and an easy-going nature, leaving a lasting impact on everyone around him.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.
