Willard R. Bear

Willard R. Bear, 73, of Mooresville, passed away Saturday, February 5th, 2022. He was born September 1st, 1948 in Indianapolis to his parents, Omar and May (Walters) Bear. Although he spent his childhood in Indianapolis, Willard lived in several different states including, California, Arizona, and Florida. He most recently was a resident of Mooresville since 1997. Willard married Paula L. (Garrard) Bear on November 8th, 1997. Willard is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Paula L. (Garrard) Bear of Mooresville; six children: Robert (Sheri) Bear, Tina Bear, Brian Bear, Tonya Bear, David Bear, and Christopher Bear; two step children: Brandy Armstrong and Jeremy Spence; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Ginn, and several nieces and nephews. Willard is preceded in death by both of his parents; one grandson; one great grandson; and six brothers. Willard was an Army Veteran. He was a Truck Driver for Ryder Rentals for the last five years. Willard loved to have a good time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary.
