Wanda Doan

Wanda L. Doan, 81, of Indianapolis, IN, died on August 17, 2011. Wanda was born to Tilford & Vanda (Twyman) Williams on March 11, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN. Wanda was a Homemaker; but also she worked as a Cook for Damar Homes in Indianapolis, IN for 5 years and for Decatur Township Schools. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Avon, IN. She lived in Indianapolis, IN all of her life. Wanda is survived by 5 children, Sandy (Dennis) White of KY, Becky (John) Price of Mooresville, IN, David (Patty) Doan of Indianapolis, IN, Cindy (Rod) Sheeks of Carmel, IN, Nancy Miller of Indianapolis, IN; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Barbara Dube of Fishers, IN, Judy Connell of Indianapolis, IN; 1 brother, Dale Williams of Coatesville, IN. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Tilford & Vanda (Twyman) Williams; 2 sisters, Emogene Chisham & Euna Pittman; daughter, Claudia Doan. Calling will be from 4-8pm, Monday, August 22, 2011 and 10-11am, Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. John Kost will officiate the 11am funeral on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Wanda will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
