Virginia F. Sturm

Virginia F. (Dahl) Sturm, 88, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2015. Virginia was born to Ellis and Bertha (Bales) Dahl on January 18, 1927 in Indianapolis. She married John W. Sturm on October 3, 1946. Virginia was a Punch Press Operator for Oak Rite in Plainfield for 12 years. She attended Calvary Tabernacle in Indianapolis. She enjoyed bowling and roller skating. She lived in Morgan County for most of her life. Virginia is survived by three daughters: Judy (Ed) Cummins of Indianapolis, Deb Sturm of Mooresville and Karen Ann (Douglas) Lawrence of Mooresville; a daughter-in-law, Donna Sturm of Plainfield; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Eugene (Julia) Dahl of Greenwood; and a sister-in-law, Emma Dahl of Indianapolis. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Bertha Dahl; her husband, John Sturm; two sons: John F. Sturm and Kenneth W. Sturm; seven brothers; and one sister. Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 and 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Brian Sturm will officiate Virginia's celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary. Virginia will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood.
