Virginia G. Bowman

Virginia G. Bowman, 98, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023 in Meadow Lakes of Mooresville. Virginia was born in Wallace, IN on May 25, 1924 to the late Pearly and Ollie (Taylor) Bowman.

Virginia was a secretary for Paul's Electric Service for 22 years before retiring in 1974. She was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville, enjoyed gardening, spending time with kids and really hot cups of coffee.

Virginia is survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great, great nieces and nephew, and 1 great, great, great nephew.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters: Ura, Della and Ruby.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 12 pm, Monday, May 15, 2023 at Jones Family Mortuary. Pastor Brandon Sichting will officiate the celebration of life service at 12 pm, Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Funeral Home following the visitation. Virginia will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery.
