Vincent Ray Sargent, 44, Indianapolis, IN passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Vincent was born on September 9, 1968 in Danville, IN to the late Willie E. Sargent and Ina Diane (Noble) Barnett.
Vincent lived in Indianapolis for most of his life. He was a Dump Truck Driver for Hot Shot Transportation for 1 year. He also drove for his sister, Lisa Pentland at Progress Express in Indianapolis for 10 years. He was a Member and Ride Coordinator of American Legion Post #64 and Speedway Masonic Lodge #729.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Lisa Sargent; 5 children: Stephen (Becky) Petty, Eric, Cody and Jamie Sargent and Alejandro Raines; 1 granddaughter, Iris Rose Petty; 2 brothers: Baron and Wesley Sargent; Sister, Lisa (Troy) Pentland and also 5 nieces and 4 nephews.
Friends and family may gather from 3-8pm, Friday, June 21, 2013 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville and from 10-11am, Saturday, June 22, 2013. Funeral serices will be at 11am, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center with Gary Pitcock officiating. Vincent will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
