It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicky J. "Mamoo" Clark, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, who left us on August 13, 2026, at the age of 72. Vicky was born on January 16, 1954, in Indianapolis, to her parents Woodrow Wilson and Joy B. (Lancaster) Pike, and she spent her life in the embrace of family and community. She married the late Rodney James Clark in September of 1973 and the two shared a beautiful life together before his passing in late 2020.
A proud graduate of Northwest High School in 1972, Vicky dedicated over 20 years to her role as a Cash Office Associate at Meijer on the west side of Indianapolis. Her warm smile and kind heart touched countless customers and colleagues, as she approached her work with a genuine passion for service.
Vicky's life revolved around her beloved family. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Michelle Gulley (Mike) of Camby; her son, James Clark (Jessica) of Columbus, Indiana; and nine grandchildren: Keith (Megan), Michael (Cheyanne), Lizabeth, Brooke (Chadwick), Brandon, Justin, Ethan, Dalton, and Kylee. Vicky was also a proud grandmother of six great-grandchildren: Cayden, Isabella, Liam, Cameron, Adlee, and Paislee. She is survived by her brother, Steve Pike (Cindy) of Plainfield, and dear friends, Karen Gulley and Penny Black.
Vicky was a woman of many passions. She loved spending time with her family, indulging in shopping trips, watching Hallmark movies, and collecting treasures that sparked joy in her heart. Her love for travel often led her to warm, sunny beaches where she could soak up the sun and create precious memories.
Vicky is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Clark; her parents; her brother, Roger Pike; and her beloved great-granddaughter, Lillian Long. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and thoughtfulness that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Family and friends may show their love and respect during a public visitation that will take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville. A funeral service will be held on August 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, to honor Vicky's life and legacy. A graveside service will be held at Westridge Park Cemetery following services, where Vicky will be laid to rest next to her husband.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time. Vicky will be forever missed but never forgotten, as she continues to live on in the memories of those she touched.
