Veldia R. "Ted" McCoy III, 51, of Brownsburg, IN, passed away with family at his side on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at St. Vincent Heart Center. Ted was born on February 3, 1963. He married Dee Ann (Heatwole) McCoy on May 18, 1991. Ted was a 1981 graduate of Mooresville High School. Ted was currently a Yard Switcher for Y.R.C. Freight for the last 25 years. He was also a member of Teamsters Local #135 and was a big baseball and nascar fan. Ted is survived by his wife; 3 children: Ty McCoy, Kaitlyn McCoy and Trey McCoy all of Brownsburg. He was raised and survived by his Aunt Barb and Uncle Sonny Perry. He is preceded by his grandparents, Veldia and Velma McCoy. Family and friends may gather 2-6pm, Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Terry Crist will officiate the funeral at 10am, Monday, August 4, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary.
