Trudy (Stegbauer) Anderson, 73, passed away Saturday, February 17th, 2024. She was born on March 11th, 1950 in Germany to her parents Frank and Franciska (Ballerstaller) Stegbauer and moved to the United States at two years of age.

Trudy is survived by her husband, Dennis Anderson; one son, Michael Cook (Rachael) of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Alex Cook and Kaitlyn Cook; four siblings: Anthony Stegbauer (Lisa) of Knightstown, Frank Stegbauer (Julie) of Newburg, Heidi Clayton (Tom) of Avon, and Lucy McGee (Leonard) of Indianapolis.

Trudy is preceded in death by both of her parents.

Trudy was a 1968 graduate of Ben Davis High School and completed some college years later. She worked in the food service industry for Steak N Shake for many years working her way into management and was known by many to be a hard worker. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her animals. Trudy loved all animals but had a special love for her cats, chickens, dog, and duck. She had a strong love for her horse that she stabled in New Mexico. Known for her kind spirit, she was quietly efficient and never spoke unkind words about anyone. Her husband Dennis quickly noticed her kindness when she applied at Days Inn at the airport where they first met.

Friends and family may show their love and support at 10 am on Friday, February 23rd for a graveside service at White Lick Cemetery.
