Thomas Downey

Thomas A. Downey, 64, of Indianapolis passed away March 30, 2006. He was born November 30, 1941 in Lockhart, FL to the late John and Mary Downey. He was married September 17, 1994 to Linda (Crane) Downey. He lived in Indianapolis for 4 years, Plainfield for 20 years, and Mooresville for 35 years. Thomas attended the River of Life Church in Camby, IN. He was also a Projectionist for the Children's Museum of Indianapolis for 11 years. Previously, he was a Packaging Engineer for Eli Lilly Co. of Indianapolis for 28 years, retiring in 1994. Thomas is survived by his wife, Linda Crane; 3 children: Lisa (Downey)(Steve) Johnson of Mooresville, John T.(Lisa)Downey, and Michael Downey of Fishers; 5 Grandchildren: Jared, Jacob, and Jael Johnson, and Katie and Alex Downey. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-7pm, April 2, 2006 with the funeral at 10am on Monday April 3, 2006 both at JONES FAMILY MORTUARY. Jon Quigley will be officiting the service. Thomas will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery in Losantville, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made out to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
