Thomas D. Biltz

Thomas D. Biltz, 82, of Plainfield passed away while surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 . He was born June 7, 1933 to Ernest F. and Helen (Mullendore) Biltz in Beech Grove, IN. He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1952. He is a Navy, Korean War Veteran. He married Mary F. (Van Deventer) Biltz on July 16, 1955.

Thomas was a Bank Manager for Indiana National Bank in Indianapolis for 10 years. He also worked for Rex Insurance and The Mooresville Times. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing with his grandchildren. He lived in Plainfield for the past year and lived most of his life in the Camby, Mooresville area.

Thomas is survived by his lovely wife of 60 years, Mary Biltz of Plainfield; three children, Ernie (Kim) Biltz of Worthington, Robin (Joe) Pickens of OH, Karrie (Scott) McCan of Carmel; four grandchildren, Ericka, B.J., Chris, Allie; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.

Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2015 and 9-10 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Father Francis will officiate Thomas's celebration of life service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the mortuary. Thomas will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
