Susie Brooks

Susie K. Brooks, 62, of Mooresville, IN, died on October 16, 2011. She was born to Everett & Sara (Underhill) Hendren in Boonville, IN on October 4, 1949. She was a 1968 Decatur Central High School Graduate. Susie married Larry Brooks on January 6, 1968. She and Larry were married 43 years. Susie was a Homemaker. Susie was a member of Gasburg Baptist Church, West Newton Order of the Eastern Star, Greenwood Moose Lodge & enjoyed playing Bingo. She has lived in Mooresville, IN for the past 25 years, Decatur Township for 23 years and her birthplace of Boonville, IN for 13 years. Susie is survived by her husband, Larry Brooks of Mooresville, IN; 2 children, Scott Brooks of Indianapolis, IN and Stephanie (Tracy) Frye of Mooresville, IN; 3 grandchildren, Samantha (Sami Jo) & Jordan Frye and Stephen Brooks; father, Everett Hendren of Mooresville, IN and a brother, Ronald (Cathy) Kingsbury of Bargesville, IN. Susie is preceded in death by her mother, Sara (Underhill) Hendren and a brother, Paulie Kingsbury. Calling hours will be from 3-8pm, Wednesday, October 19, 2011 and 9-10am, Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Jack Elliott will officiate the 10am funeral service on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Susie will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN.
