Susanna Henson

Susanna Henson, 93 years of age passed away Friday, June 27, 2008. She was born February 15, 1915 in Leslie County, KY to the late Eli Collins and the late Elizabeth (Woods) Collins. Susanna married the late Tommie Henson on September 13, 1937. She has lived in Camby, IN since 1957 and previously, in Indianapolis, IN for 12 years and Leslie County, KY for 10 years. She was a member of the Wesleyan Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN and also she loved gardening and quilting. Susanna was a Homemaker. Susanna is survived by 13 Children: Mollie Jackson of Manchester, KY; Willie Henson of Camby, IN; Eva Phillips of Indianapolis, IN; Don Henson of Spencer, IN; Charles Henson of Mooresville, IN; Patricia Smith of Manchester, KY; Tommie Henson Jr. of Camby, IN; Ruth Henson of Camby, IN; Johnney Henson of Indianapolis, IN; Dennis Henson of Camby, IN; Joseph Henson of Mooresville, IN; Donna Henson of Camby, IN; and Martha Blankenship of Indianapolis, IN; 1 Brother, Leonard Collins of KY; 1 Sister, Lucy Smith of KY; 42 Grandchildren; 70 Great Grandchildren; 8 Great, Great Grandchildren; and many other family and friends. Susanna is also preceded in death by 1 Son, George "Butch" Henson and 1 Daughter, Joyce Henson. Calling will be from 3-8pm, June 30, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary and also 1 hour prior to the service. The funeral will be at 10am, Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary with J.D. Bailey to officiate. Susanna will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Francis Hospice.
