Susan Brooke

Susan R. Brooke, 57 of Mooresville, IN passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008. She was born August 29, 1951 in Lexington, KY to the late Albert Bushong Brooke II and the late Virginia Joyce (Rogers) Brooke. Susan married David Stafford of Mooresville, IN on February 28, 1976. Susan has lived in Mooresville for 30 years, Indianapolis, IN for 5 years, and in Towsend, MD for 17 years. She was a 1973 graduate of the University of Deleware, then received her Law Degree from I.U. in Indianapolis, IN in 1976. Susan was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mooresville, IN. She was a Former Director for Morgan County Habitat for Humanity, American Bar Association, Construction Bar Association, and Volunteer with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She was a Construction Attorney for Duke Realty in Indianapolis for the past 2 years. Susan is survived by her Husband, David Stafford of Mooresville, IN; 3 Children: Daniel Reid Stafford of Indianapolis, IN, Randall Brooke Stafford of Calgary, AB, and Amanda Brooke Stafford of Columbus, OH; 2 Brothers, Albert Bushong Brooke III of Philadelphia, PA and Roger Brooke of Bend, OR; 1 Sister, Virginia Joyce Brooke of Philadelphia, PA; and 1 Uncle, George Rogers of Atlanta, GA. Calling hours for Susan will be from 2-7pm, Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Jones Crossing Banquet and Event Center next to Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 11am, Monday, September 8, 2008 at the First Baptist Church with Guy Lancour to officiate. In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Morgan County Habitat for Humanity.
