Susan Ambrose

Susan J. Ambrose, 65 of Monrovia, IN passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007. She was born October 29, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Willard M. Snodgrass and the late Mary Maxine (Roberts) Snodgrass. She married Don Ambrose on October 30, 1970. Susan lived in Monrovia, IN for most of her life. She was a 1959 Washington High School Graduate. She was a member of the Gasburg Baptist Church, Monrovia Homemakers Club, Monrovia Festival Association, and Jobs Daughters of Indianapolis, IN. She enjoyed photography, antiques, going to Branson, Missouri, and her flowers and animals. Before retiring in 1973, she was a Postal Clerk for the Airport Post Office in Indianapolis, IN. Susan is survived by her Husband, Don Ambrose of Monrovia, IN; 5 Children: Lisa Anne Polston of Monrovia, IN, Chris Olds of Indianapolis, IN, Dean Ambrose of Deleware, Lisa Dawn Lemieux of North Carolina, and Gina Napolitano of Florida.; 12 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren; and Aunt Dorothy Roberts of Florida. She will have calling hours from 3-7pm, Sunday, April 29, 2007 and the funeral will be at 10:00am, Monday, April 30, 2007 both held at Jones Family Mortuary. Jack Elliott will be officiating the service. Susan will be laid to rest at Stilesville Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
