Sue Flynn

Sue Ellen Flynn of Mooresville passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at Hendricks County Hospital. She was born on October 19, 1933 in Worthington, IN to Clovis and Alta Goodwin. She earned a bachelors and masters degrees in Elementary Education from Indiana University. She married Chet Flynn in 1957. They moved to Mooresville, IN where Sue taught elementary school at IPS, West Newton, Newby, and Neil Armstrong until her retirement from Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation in 1992. She was also a member of the First Christian Church in Mooresville, IN. Mrs. Flynn is survived by her husband Chet Flynn, two daughters, Beth Walton and Carole Ellinghausen, one sister Virginia Kruger and 5 grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 4-8pm, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 and 1 hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday at Jones Crossing Banquet Center (right next to Jones Family Mortuary). The funeral will be at 11am, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Jones Family Mortuary handled the arrangements. Burial will be at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington, IN at a later date.
