Steven Patterson

Steven D. Patterson, 53, of Mooresville, died April 25, 2009. He was born on April 8, 1956 in Franklin, IN to Sam Patterson Sr. of Tennessee and the late Shirley (Blanford) Patterson. He married Paula J. (Herbert) Patterson on July 13, 2002 and she survives. He was a 1974 Decatur Central High School Graduate. He has lived the last 17 years in Mooresville, IN and previously, he lived in Indianapolis for 36 years. Currently, he was a Machinest for National Starch and Chemical in Indianapolis for 13 years. Previously, he was a Machinest for Maple Hurst Dairy in Indianapolis for 18 years. He loved the outdoors, sports, motor sports racing and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife: Paula J. Patterson of Mooresville; 2 sons: Damon and Doug Patterson of Mooresville; 2 step children: David Eric Frost of Mooresville and Christina Marie Frost of Indianapolis; 1 granddaughter: Haley Patterson; father and step mother: Sam and Irma Patterson Sr. of Tennessee; 1 brother: Sam Patterson Jr. of Indianapolis;2 sisters: Sherry Douglas of MI and Sandy Greene of Mooresville. Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 and 9-10am, Wednesday, April 29, 2009, all at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 10am on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 with Jeff McQueary officiating. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Heart Fund.
