Stephen L. Taylor

Stephen L Taylor passed away the morning of 12/28/22 due to stage 4 lung cancer. Steve was diagnosed the Saturday after Thanksgiving after driving himself to the ER - in true Steve fashion. It was a quick decline as he had always hoped for, as he never wanted to be a burden on anyone. He kept his sense of humor throughout the whole process and wasn't afraid to make a fool of himself (in his own words).

He was an eccentric man who lived a different lifestyle than most people would understand. He wanted to bring truth to the world and lived every day fighting for that.

He wanted everyone to know that this was a beautiful event in his life and not to be sad about it. He has ascended now, no longer in pain and suffering, and I know rejoicing with the many loved ones that were waiting on the other side.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 12pm noon to 1pm on Monday, January 2nd at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A memorial service will be held at 1pm with a reception following until 4pm at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
