Stephen Firm Mcbride

Stephen Firm McBride, 78, of Brownsburg, passed away Saturday, November 4th, 2023. He was born December 14th, 1944 in Indianapoils to his parents Herman Firm and Dorothy (Inlow) McBride. He married Kay A. (Cravens) McBride on May 1st, 2010. He was a resident of Indianapolis for most of his life and resided in Brownsburg for the last 14 years.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Kay A. McBride of Brownsburg; one daughter, Angie McBride of Lafayette; and one sister, Karen McBride of Indianapolis. Stephen is preceded in death by both of his parents and one son, Stephen McBride.

Stephen was a 1963 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He later joined the United States Army National Guard. After discharging from the military, Stephen obtained his Bachelor's Degree for Nursing from Marion College. He was a Nurse at Wishard Hospital along with several other places. After retiring from Nursing, Stephen worked for the National Forest Service as a Campground Host out west in Utah, Idaho, and Arizona. He loved traveling and camping.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
